Amy Leydon
With her signature free-flowing style of yoga, Amy’s class is the perfect balance between strength and surrender. She uses clear alignment cues mixed with moments of spontaneous movement to encourage students to follow her guidance but explore their own paths. She feels this combination of structure and experimentation is ultimately how we find our way in yoga and in life. Amy has a 200-hour certification with Ganga White and Tracey Rich at the White Lotus Foundation. She credits much of her teachings to her two main influences, Barbara Benagh and Shiva Rea. Amy has been teaching in Boston for nearly 10 years. She was just awarded Best Yoga Teacher in Boston by Boston Magazine. Read the profile >>
David Vendetti
Yoga allows me to be who I am without struggle. To notice, breathe, remember and enjoy this body, this moment. Classes integrate a clear foundation in anatomy with intelligent alignment, hands on adjustments and ever evolving flows to heal the body. Students are encouraged to cultivate a deep passion for self-examination and lighthearted exploration. I have been honored to meet and practice with so many talented and amazing teachers whose work I cherish and share now as I teach. Thank you Patricia Walden, Ana Forrest, Tom Myers, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Lynne Begier, David Magone, Andrew Cohen, Bo Forbes, Sundara, Pamela Wilson, Arthur Kilmurray, Sri Louise, Byron Katie and Glenn Black for reflecting the limitless. I co-founded South Boston Yoga in 2008 with my husband Todd Skoglund. Read the profile >>

It is my passion to motivate others to recognize their mental, and thus physical, potential. Through my professional training, I provide my clients with tools for maximum strength, flexibility, coordination, and weight loss. With passion, I motivate and support my clients in achieving their fitness goals. Through humor, I help my clients laugh through the sweat. Read the profile >>
Lynne Begier
Lynne first began her inquiry into spiritual practice as a young girl who attended catholic summer camp and schools. This journey led her to Georgetown University where she studied languages and linguistics and began a path a destruction that ultimately led to 2 hospitalization stays for eating disorders and depression. Lynne was first introduced to yoga in 1991 on the advice of her psychiatrist. This began a long process of healing which is still ongoing. She completed her 1st Teacher Training at Kripalu where she learned the quiet and softer yoga practices, which continue to inspire her Restorative yoga classes. These classes are about letting go at a very deep level and allowing the body to come to a place of rest, ease and healing - both emotional and physical. After completing her... Read the profile >>
Marc McDonald
Sports Club LA
Marc began teaching yoga in 1998 after having been inspired by the transformative effects of the practice in his life. He soon focused his attention on Astanga yoga under the direction of David Swenson and Kathy McNames. He would later complete (220/500 hour) teacher certifications through FRA and Yoga Vermont. In 2005, Marc was introduced to Budokon, a Yogic and Martial art created by Cameron Shayne. Budokon enhanced and expanded upon ideas he was introduced to years earlier. His classes integrate a love of music and an expression of movement that is both challenging and playful. His approach is based on the firm belief that each body must find its own unique path within the practice. Marc does not believe in 'one size fits all'. He encourages exploration and creativity in... Todd Skoglund
I was introduced to the physical practice of yoga by my husband and partner, David Vendetti, in 2002. I have certifications with Glenn Black, Ana Forrest, David Magone and Cameron Shayne, and have also studied with Shandor Remete, Duncan Wong, Manju Jois, and a number of other amazing and talented teachers. My classes focus on intelligent strength building through longer holds, arm balancing postures, and transitioning with grace, articulation and control from one posture to the next. I teach each class with purpose and with great respect for my students' health and safety. In January of 2008, David and I opened South Boston Yoga. Read the profile >>
