North End Yoga & South Boston Yoga
Yoga has been a tremendous force of healing in my life. While living in New York City and working in the fashion industry for over 5 years, I was always on-the-go and found my mind and my body over-worked and extremely stressed. It was in my yoga practice where I began to observe from within. I was able to separate myself from the outside world, quiet my mind and listen to my heart. I fell in love with the practice and what started as a hobby, turned into a new path in my life. As my practice grew, so did my appreciation and love for not only the flowing movement and connection to the breath, but the spirituality and philosophy behind the practice.
I feel truly blessed to be able to share my love for the practice with others through teaching. My intention as a yoga instructor is to inspire my students to use yoga as a tool to help them connect and move inward, begin to feel more and become more aware, both physically and emotionally. Hopefully through this journey, my students are able to discover inner strength, self-love and compassion. I believe my role as an teacher is to 'plant the seed' and allow my students to grow their own tree. My classes are deep and thoughtful, emphasizing breathe, fluid movement and strong alignment. My goal is is to empower and my support students at every level to align their bodies, minds, and hearts with their highest senses of self.
I completed my 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga teacher training from Yoga High in New York City under the guidance of Liz Buehler Walker and Mel Russo. I am forever grateful for the ongoing support and inspiration from all of the wonderful teachers who continue to awaken me in ways I could never have imagined. Having taught on Cape Cod and now Boston, I feel truly blessed to be surrounded by such a beautiful, inspiring yoga community.
I am currently studying holistic nutrition and wellness at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and am so excited to share my knowledge and experience to help lead others on a positive path to optimal health and well-being.
