Dee is a senior teacher at Ashram Yoga, passionate about Yoga and energy work. She teaches popular weekly classes, co-facilitates on training courses, runs workshops and leads kirtan as a source of constant inspiration and to share her love of Yoga. In 2006 she developed PLAY (Physically, Learning, Active, Yoga) classes to instill the FUNdamental skills of yoga at an early age, in an adventurous and creative way. Ashram Yoga now offers this as a teacher training module. Dee is a qualified Shiatsu & Thai Yoga Massage practitioner, Yoga therapist and Yoga Alliance 500-hour registered teacher who enjoys exploring the many avenues one can work with their energy to create positive life change. . Mat Lewisham

Mat is the guy you go to when you want to run farther than you thought possible. He has created a coaching practice and running club in Auckland that helps runners at all levels to get out there and make their goals real. His earlier career as an HR professional for corporate businesses was about getting the best out of people. Over the years as a dedicated Running Coach, Mat has helped people achieve their running goals while balancing successful working, sporting and family lives. His passion is helping people be the best they can be, removing their doubts so they can be freed up to achieve and succeed. Precise pairing of flowing asana with uplifting, relatable philosophy defines my yoga teaching and is what I commit to bring to each and every class I teach. I know that teaching Yoga is my greatest achievement and privilege in this life. I am constantly reminded of this every Savasana and “see you next time’’ from every student. If students arrive to class with a trapezius full of emotional baggage and extreme feeling of tension and disconnect, the fact that they can authentically chat to someone as they leave class, with feelings of complete space in their bodies and mind is the ultimate reward.
