Where are you from?
Originally I'm from Houston, Texas, but moved to Albuquerque when I was 9 years old so New Mexico is home!
What is the theme song of your life?
"It's My Life", Bon Jovi
What is a BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) you are working on this year? Attending another yoga teacher training. I am attending a Yoga Journal conference in July and hope to explore different forms and types of yoga there. My goal is for this to help me find a training that focuses on a lot of the physicality, flow, and hands-on concepts of yoga.
What is your favorite lululemon piece? My gray No Limits Tank.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life what would it be? PEANUT BUTTER.
What is something shocking or surprising about you?
I lived in Ireland for 6 months just to explore...and to kiss the Blarney Stone.
What would your dream job be (other than teaching yoga)?
A Cirque De Soleil performer (if I had the talent).
What's something in the last year a student has taught you?
Everyones yoga experience is personal. It can be affected by all of life's variables and the baggage we each bring to class. Often when a student has a bad class, as an instructor it can feel very personal, but it is important to remember that everyone is experiencing something different on the mat that day.
If you could teach a class to any historical figure, who would it be? Princess Di. She was so open-minded and influenced by positivity. She also had a very stressful life and I feel yoga would have benefited her a great deal.
