a day in the life of a Designer - ivivva
- Responsible for the creation- by style- of the functional designs to support the creative vision
- Owns the execution of their design- 1st/ 2nd fittings
- Owns initial hand off of each style to the Das (this includes some initial tech packs dependent on the skill level of the design coming on)
- Owns colour up of line (apparel and accessories) with support from lead
- Supports lead designer in conceptual research and collaboration for the seasonal vision
- Responsible for mock-ups and solution oriented support prior to kick off and WWDT
The finer print
- 4+ years of industry experience in garment design and/or related experience
- Posses’ excellent skills in illustrator, excel, word, outlook and hand sketching. 3D modeling skills are a plus.
