A day in the life of VP of Vision
•The VP of Vision at lululemon leads the product creation process from concept to floor. You create the brand, you love and get the muse, you are passionate about sport, and about what we are up to. You understand the brand essence and ethos and can coach and lead it.
•You have a vision and are a strategist. You lead the team creating and communicating seasonal direction and initiatives. You collaborate with the designers and design manager to both build and execute a cohesive vision. You travel for tradeshows, trend, inspiration and research – and you guide and lead the process.
•You communicate powerfully and inspire, and can distill complex information into simple stories and ideas. You can clearly craft and tell stories that can be shared internally and externally. You educate. You elevate and cultivate the level of talent on our team.
•You partner with the Advanced Concept Team to ensure continuous innovation is delivered. You partner with the Head of Production and Sourcing to ensure we working with premium vendors who we can innovate with and build the best athletic apparel in the world – quality, fabric, fit, function.
•You lead and direct the Color and Graphics team. You collaborate in creating the seasonal palette. You guide the Graphic Artist in setting the graphic tone for each season for each line and set the graphic direction.
•You work one shift per week on the retail floor, and participate in yoga/fitness classes in the community.

•Partner with design manager to lead a team that creates components to help people live long, healthy, more fun lives
•Prepare and present design concepts that communicate seasonal direction clearly
•Set theme, color, fabric/trim, styling and silhouette direction
•Work in our stores and innovate and action feedback from ambassadors and athletes
•Collaborate with the design team and manufacturing partners to achieve ‘state of the art’ opportunities for product innovation
•Manage and ownership over production timelines, calendar and margin

•10+ years industry experience in garment design and/or related experience
•Bachelors of Design (or equivalent)
•5 yrs experience leading and managing teams
•Actively live and breathe the lululemon culture and lifestyle
•Leader and coach
•Approahable and available
•Passionate and knowledgeable about yoga, run, and athletics
